Updated: Jun 6, 2024

Menstrual Phase (Days 1-5): The uterine lining sheds, causing menstrual bleeding.

Follicular Phase (Days 1-13): Follicles in the ovaries grow, and the uterine lining thickens. Ovulation (Around Day 14): A mature egg is released from the ovary.

Luteal Phase (Days 15-28): The uterine lining prepares for potential pregnancy; if no pregnancy occurs, the cycle restarts with menstruation.
